ABSOLUTE DELUSION - SWATHI MADHAVAN

Creatures strive always to rank as the bests

Ignoring sleep, casting away their rests

But as for me I've never had this dilemma

If I ever strive and fail, I won't fall to trauma

What if I was second, third or even tenth ?

Will it make me smarter or give strength ?

Not this nor that, it's an absolute delusion

That might bring your life into conclusion

I don't judge people who fight for dreams

Yet I detest ones obsessed with screams...

When they don't get to what they wished for

And don't live to expectations in their core

This kind of frail entities end up suiciding

I've seen dozens, no, hundreds sacrificing...

Their lives for what they call aim and goal

For they're even more of fragile, more to fall

But I never tire myself with expectations

I just want to be and live in pure sensations

And don't blame me for I spoke the truth

I live to the fullest, never wasting my youth
